Characters may be any scifi or fantasy character, species, race, slimeball, talking judo guineapig (well, maybe not that last one) as long as they don't have powers that break the following rules:

Your character's personality and history should come out in your posts, not in a silly bio. Add them if you want. It's optional. 
Character bios will be left unlocked so you can edit them as we go. Feel free to add history to them as the story progresses, or just post great barbeque recipes I can use at home. If you add something, you might want to put a note at the bottom of your post such as "Edit: Added new scar in Appearance."

- Super senses (sight, hearing or smell only)
- Energy powers - only what is similar to a small phaser. You cannot destroy planets, for instance, or blow holes through walls.
- Mind Talking. This is not the same as mind reading. It is the ability to project your 'voice' into someone's mind. Once the link is established, the other person can talk to you, too, but you cannot read thoughts they don't intend for you to hear.
- Teleporting of self or other items
The following powers are PROHIBITED:
- Controlling someone else with your powers
- Invulnerability
- Shape shifting
- Mind Reading
- We will be lenient for species differences. For example, a Klingon is stronger than a human. Those are ok. However a species that can bite someone and send toxins into their bloodstream is not allowed. A species that can run faster is ok. A species that can pass through walls is not. We hope that you can see the differences.
