Near Torus 5, five planets can be found orbiting a sun.
Seiryuu
An agricultural planet. Warning beacons surround the world as the inhabitants do not want their lifestyle and traditions destroyed by outworlders. There are six receiving areas for trade and no one must pass those boundaries without permission from the Kiha Council. The planet is covered by grasses. Many different kinds are exported and the inhabitants have started planting crops to be sold to the station. The Hippae and their associated Hounds are the type of thing that can give you nightmares, capable of mentally controlling those around them, with a totally egocentric and blood-thirsty attitude. The Hippae resemble warped humanoid velociraptors and the hounds are a horrific amalgamation of horses and dogs, with spines and hardened flesh.
Genbu
A bare planet until you travel underground where you will encounter a tremendous mining operation. The species in charge of the mines are aggressive and known for their intolerance to failure and their physical size and strength.
Byakko
Very little landmass can be found on this planet and the native population has evolved to be at home in the water as well as on land. Byakko is considered a destination planet for water sports and relaxation on many of the floating resorts. The Byakkites have red eyes, and can breathe air with modified lungs, and survive underwater due to gills behind their ears.
Suzaku
A planet seething in energy. Vast resources of geothermal steam run power generators for the advanced research labs and production factories which are raised above the volatile surface on anti-grav platforms.
Primordia
On the planet Primordia, creatures have evolved, barely hanging on for survival against the harsh backdrop of an ever-changing planet. With no technology, no materialism (yet...), the beings of Primordia hang onto their lives, scratching and crawling. All creatures can communicate with other species, some on a more intelligent level than others. The planet is a cacophony of sound, each creature crying out, wanting its voice to be heard, its species to be dominant... supreme. Remember, this is meant to be a rough environment, so the creatures are all grungy, dirty, primal. Clothing is basic. As time goes by, the different creatures may acquire new skills. Be imaginative, but don't build a glistening city in one day.
